Seasonal Color
Let Tracy add colorful flowers and plants to enhance your garden and containers throughout the year. In addition, she has great ideas to create curb appeal and can stage your garden prior to listing your home for sale.
Garden Profile
This one- to two-hour walk through provides you with an evaluation of your entire garden. A garden profile is included that specifies currents plant conditions, problem areas, and plant care instructions with recommendations on how to get your garden back in balance.
Renew
Refresh your containers and existing shrubs to add balance and style to your garden. Spruce up your outdoor space to create a relaxing environment with a few simple ideas. Tracy will also fertilize and do light pruning where needed.
Garden Coaching
Work one-on-one with Tracy and get educated on your existing plants or get started on a new project. Learn from her extensive knowledge of plant care on how to maintain and improve your garden. Pruning, plant selection and placement, pest and disease control, water conservation, composting, and vegetable gardening, are examples of the topics covered.

About Tracy
Tracy Kimes is the owner of Tracy’s By the Yard garden design. She has a passion for gardening and finding the balance in a yard that makes it a place to enjoy.
She especially likes to repurpose existing plants and pots and provide a focal point. She has lived in Westlake Village with her husband for nearly 20 years where their garden was featured on the Westlake Garden Club garden tour. She designed and landscaped the large property including a raised bed vegetable garden, an outdoor garden train layout, multiple flower beds, roses and a fruit tree orchard.
Recently drought tolerant ground cover and succulents have been added. She served on the Architectural Committee for her homeowner’s association providing design expertise.
Tracy has worked with homeowners and realtors throughout the Conejo Valley to refresh their properties and provide curb appeal to improve value. Previously she designed and landscaped their home in Calabasas.
Tracy holds a Bachelor’s degree from Pepperdine University where she worked for many years in higher education prior to raising their two children and digging into gardening.
